Vlada Teper is a poet and writer, but foremost, a learner.
When she is connected to the wonder and awe of this world, of this life, she is refilled and fully present... and writing as well as nature are amazing conduits! Fluent in Spanish, Russian and English, Vlada finds that each language, just like each culture, carries its own wisdom. Each language offers its own ways of being and knowing. In her writing, Vlada is interested in the nuance and complexity of what is. Her writing explores the many facets of identity, the magic of relationships, and different journeys to self connection and wholeness. With MAs in English and Education from Stanford University, Vlada is The Community of Writers alum. Formerly a Fulbright Scholar in Russia, Vlada is an 826 Valencia Teacher of the Month Award winner and the Founder and ED of Inspiring Multicultural Understanding, a multicultural leadership program for immigrant youth. Vlada is currently working on a Memoir. |
